Cinode wishes Merry Christmas and is honored to support Team Rynkeby

We at Cinode wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

In this holiday greeting, we also want to encourage everyone to do something for others during this Christmas season. Cinode is honored to, for the fourth consecutive year, highlight and support Team Rynkeby’s vital fundraising efforts.

Team Rynkeby is a European charity cycling team that rides to Paris every year to raise money for children with critical illnesses and their families.

In 2023, Team Rynkeby donated 108.7 million SEK to organizations assisting children with critical illnesses, of which 28.1 million SEK went to Barncancerfonden and Barnhjärnfonden in Sweden.

– Cinode is eager to back Team Rynkeby’s fundraising initiatives and contribute to raising awareness for children facing serious illnesses. Research needs more funding to combat childhood cancer, and initiatives like these are crucial,” says Mattias Loxi, co-founder and marketing manager at Cinode.

Biking over 1,200 kilometers

The charitable organization was founded in 2002 in Denmark. Participants are divided into different teams, and together they cycle to the French capital.

Today, they consist of 1,971 recreational cyclists and 521 support participants, distributed among 66 local teams from Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Germany, and Switzerland.

For the majority of the year, participants not only have to manage cycling over 1,200 kilometers to Paris but also commit to making an effort to raise funds for children with serious illnesses.

The disease that takes the most children’s lives

The majority of the funds go towards financing research in childhood cancer. Childhood cancer remains the disease that takes the most children’s lives in the ages 1-14, and far too many children experience serious side effects from treatment, says Paul Chronqvist Svensson, Country Manager for Team Rynkeby Sweden.
