Pipeline Assistant Creates Data-Driven Sales Focus at Frontit

When competition intensifies, it becomes even more important to work smarter and more data-driven. Together with his team, Peter Dahlén, Head of Sales and Business Development at Frontit, uses Cinode Pipeline Assistant as a key driver to strengthen efficiency and quality in the sales process.

What is Pipeline Assistant?

Pipeline Assistant acts as a digital coach for salespeople. It analyzes the pipeline and reminds you of critical steps in the process directly in Teams or Slack – for example, filling in budget, deal value, or assigning roles. The requirements increase as the deal progresses toward closing. This ensures that all data maintains high quality, resulting in clearer forecasts and better decision-making – without salespeople having to spend extra time on administration.

“In tough times, it becomes even more important to work efficiently and data-driven. We want to act on the right things and not waste time administering knowledge. Pipeline Assistant helps us improve data quality and serves as a personal coach for every salesperson,” says Peter.

An important aspect is that the coaching happens individually. Only the salesperson sees what might be missing in the data. This creates a sense of security and makes it possible to focus on improving the process step by step.

“This goes beyond just validating data at the field-entry stage. Instead, we can define automation throughout the sales process. Early on, we require expected revenue and closing date. Further down the process, we can require created roles, assigned roles, and so on. The Assistant reminds you directly in Teams if something is missing in the sales stage of the opportunity. It’s a dialogue between the salesperson and the digital coach – no one else needs to know if I’ve missed something,” Peter explains.

Currently, Frontit is running a pilot with Pipeline Assistant, and the feedback has been very positive.

“It’s almost a non-issue – you simply can’t think this is bad. We see it as a step towards greater automation and giving salespeople more time to focus on what truly creates value,” Peter concludes.
