Cinode is making changes to its leadership team to accelerate the company’s next phase. Mark Kantor, currently Chief Product Officer, will take over as CEO. After eight years as CEO, Anders Hagberg is stepping down from the role to focus fully on new customer acquisition and international growth.
The change comes at a time when AI is rapidly reshaping both the consulting industry and the way modern SaaS companies build their products and organizations. Cinode is stepping up its investment in AI and agent-based workflows, while placing greater emphasis on product development and sales.
– We are in the midst of a technological shift that is changing the way both we and the consulting industry operate. AI and agents will become increasingly integrated into how consulting firms manage skills, sales and resource planning. Our ambition is to be at the forefront of this development, says Mark Kantor, incoming CEO of Cinode.
Kantor has served as Cinode’s CPO since 2013, with long-standing responsibility for the company’s product strategy and technology development. As CEO, he will bring this perspective together with overall responsibility for taking Cinode into its next phase.
At the same time, Anders Hagberg’s role will become more focused. He has served as CEO since 2018 and, in recent years, has combined the role with responsibility for Cinode’s commercial organization. He will now step down as CEO and focus fully on the commercial side of the business, driving new customer acquisition and international growth.
– Cinode has a strong product and customer base today. The next phase is about continued growth and bringing new customers on board, both in the Nordics and internationally. It feels like the right time to focus 100 percent on that, says Anders Hagberg.
For Cinode, the change creates a clearer division of responsibilities between product and commercial development. At the same time, the company is continuing to invest in making AI and agents a central part of the platform.
– We have been building Cinode for consulting firms for more than 15 years, giving us a unique combination of industry expertise, data and technology. We now have entirely new opportunities to add intelligence that not only provides insights, but also carries out the work that happens every day in consulting organizations. This is a very exciting phase for Cinode. We look forward to helping our customers navigate the rapid transformation driven by AI, says Mark Kantor.
Cinode brings CRM, skills management and resource planning together in an AI-powered platform built specifically for the consulting industry. Nearly 300 consulting firms use Cinode to grow profitably through more efficient sales, delivery and skills management. At the same time, more than 10,000 consulting firms collaborate through the Cinode network to find the right expertise and create new business opportunities. Founded in Stockholm in 2010, Cinode now has customers in nine countries.
