We are now looking for a curious and collaborative Design Engineer to join our Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems (EATS) team and help shape the next generation of sustainable engine technology.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in EATS muffler or UDS development who combines deep expertise within their field with a genuine interest in learning new areas and broadening their competence. We value a T-shaped mindset: strong technical knowledge in your core discipline combined with curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to collaborate across functions, technologies, and organizations.

As part of the EATS team, you will contribute to the development of future aftertreatment solutions, focusing on muffler design, verification, and system performance. Experience with CAD tools and KOLA is beneficial, as well as an understanding of designing components for demanding thermal and vibration environments.

You will work closely with a wide range of development teams, including component owners, engine test engineers, simulation engineers, project managers, and suppliers. We are looking for someone who enjoys building networks, sharing knowledge, and solving challenges together with colleagues from different disciplines. Success in this role comes from combining technical expertise with the ability to collaborate, learn from others, and contribute to a broader systems perspective.

You will be involved throughout the entire development process, from concept generation and requirement setting to testing, validation, analysis, and documentation.
