Application Operation Specialist - you work with infrastructure support for our customers Engineering deliveries.


Mission scenario Typical scenario of delivery with various phases. A new application or service is to be used within test & verification of Products, and for this delivery there is a need for new infrastructure. Discussions with solution leaders and solution architects are held and an infrastructure is defined, you are integral in this discussion to ensure that the IT infrastructure is well designed regarding location of servers (on-prem, cloud, IT supplier data center etc.), Operating System and configuration of server. You support in server application and middleware installation and configuration, often together with application suppliers/partners. Security aspects for data traffic between server/s and clients as well as towards other server resources is to be requested and applied, in cooperation with Solution Architects. When setup is active, you follow up on functionality and maintenance.


Required Competencies Application operation


One time and run time delivery for COTS applications and configuration.

Broad IT background including IT security, server mgmt, certificate management, remote maintenance etc.

Selected IT infrastructure areas like Windows (client & server), Linux, Databases (Oracle, SQL server, PostgreSQL),

Network zone set up. Experience around close stakeholder dialogue, example IT analytic work.

Technical documentation experience.

Experience in taking responsibility of IT solution from plan to delivery and operation. Is open to change and enjoys new challenges.

Used to team collaboration.

Desirable Competences/Certificates: ITIL Foundation

Experience of working in stable teams/agile Previous

IT infrastructure work experience in test & verification of products.
