Quality Inspector / Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical Equipment | Consulting assignment in energy

WeQuel is now looking for a Quality Inspector / Engineer in Finspång. You join a quality team handling Oil & Gas and complex projects, covering quality demands all the way from proposal support, through the execution phase, until hand-over of equipment to the end clients. The team works with project quality management, inspection activities and inspection coordination with classification societies, and is part of both the client's local quality organisation and its global quality team.

Your responsibilities:

- Plan and perform inspections at the client and at suppliers

- Follow up inspection results and actively contribute to resolving open issues

- Participate in project meetings

- Collaborate closely with and support the engineering team

- When needed, act as Project Supplier Quality Manager (PSQM)

- Travel within Sweden and Europe, approximately 60% of the assignment time per year

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience within inspection

- Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering, and/or longer work experience within inspection

- Knowledge of PED, ASME and/or structural design

- Fluent English, spoken and written

- Administrative skills and good knowledge of MS Office

- Good communication skills and a high level of order and structure

- Structured and self-motivated, with flexibility to travel outside working hours and on weekends when required

- Finspång as primary location

Meritorious:

- Swedish and other languages besides English

- Personal certificates related to PED, ASME, AWS or similar

- Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical engineering and equipment

- Knowledge of or experience in SAP and PLM2020
