Background
Our client, a large international company in the paper and pulp industry, is moving to a new ERP system based on SAP S/4HANA through a greenfield implementation. The goal is more efficient business processes, better information flow between departments and stronger data capabilities.
The first release covers Finance, Tax, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement and Maintenance and has gone live at a pilot site in two go-lives. The next phase is a broader rollout to multiple sites in Europe and North America, focused on process harmonization and close collaboration with the business.
The consultant will continue and strengthen the work from the pilot through the remaining rollout, and is responsible for the overall delivery of the S2P workstream, including dependencies on other areas.
Role and responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Overall responsibility for successful delivery of the S2P workstream.
Drive, measure and monitor progress so activities and deliverables are delivered on time.
Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, issues, risks and dependencies on other workstreams and releases.
Contribute to efficient and sustainable business processes supported by SAP S/4HANA and related systems.
Monitor and mitigate risks and issues, and escalate unresolved matters to program management.
Ensure effective stakeholder collaboration, meeting structures and expectation management.
General responsibilities
Coordinate with other workstreams, such as deployment and change management, to ensure solution alignment.
Manage and coordinate resources, responsibilities and ways of working in the team.
Ensure internal and external stakeholders are engaged and committed.
Ensure deliverables support the realization of business benefits.
Together with implementation partners, ensure business requirements are reflected in process and system design, covering both SAP and integrated legacy systems.
Drive resolution and closure of FITs and GAPs across processes, data and systems.
Act as an ambassador for the new solution.
Mandatory requirements
Strong experience from both SAP Sourcing and SAP Ariba implementations, preferably within SAP S/4HANA. Both areas are required.
Proven project management experience focused on S2P processes, challenges and organizations.
Experience leading large ERP transformations.
Experience with both custom-built and ERP systems, with a strong understanding of the challenges of harmonizing business processes.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Fluent English, spoken and written.
Able to work on-site in Stockholm at least 3 days per week.
Desirable
SAP S/4HANA certification.
Experience from manufacturing environments.
Previous formal leadership experience.
Swedish, spoken and written.
