Solution Architect – Payments & ISO 20022 | Level C

We are looking for a Solution Architect for a long-term assignment within Payments & Accounts at a large organization in the banking and financial services sector.

You will work within the Payments, Accounts & Deposits domain, with a strong focus on ISO 20022, Instant Payments and regulatory/market-driven changes, including IPR and PSR.

The role involves close collaboration with other architects, Product Owners, Lead Designers and development teams within an Agile Release Train.

Responsibilities include:

• Create, improve and implement solution architecture aligned with target architecture and established architecture principles
• Work with architecture within Payments, Accounts & Deposits, including ISO 20022 and market-mandatory changes
• Design and support mission-critical solutions based on microservices
• Work with Order Management solutions and real-time processing of transactions/orders
• Work with architecture documentation, modelling and visualization
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Lead Designers, development teams and other architects
• Participate in Agile Release Train planning and estimations
• Follow established architecture and development processes
• Stay up to date with relevant technologies, standards, blueprints and architecture patterns
• Contribute actively to architectural communities

Required experience and qualifications:

• Several years of experience in IT development and architecture
• Experience designing and supporting mission-critical microservices
• Experience with Order Management solutions and real-time transaction/order processing
• Experience from banking or financial institutions
• Experience with architecture documentation, requirements and system solutions
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills across both business and IT
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or other relevant education
• Fluent English

Experience within Accounts & Deposits is considered an advantage, as is an architecture certification.

Assignment details:

Start: 2 November 2026

End: 31 December 2027

Scope: 100%

Location: Stockholm – work will be performed at the client's premises
