Power BI Consultant – Data & Municipality Ranking
For our client, we are looking for an experienced Power BI Consultant for a short-term assignment in Stockholm.
The consultant will develop a new Power BI solution for municipality ranking based on an established methodology. The assignment covers the full process from retrieving and combining external and internal data to transformation, ranking calculations, documentation and decision-support material.
The solution must meet high requirements regarding data governance, traceability and auditability.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve public external data from Statistics Sweden (SCB) and combine it with non-public data provided by the client
- Transform and prepare data according to an established ranking methodology
- Develop the solution in Power BI
- Implement calculations and generate municipality rankings based on the approved methodology
- Produce required documentation and decision-support material
- Ensure appropriate data lineage, traceability, auditability, availability and controls
- Develop the solution in accordance with applicable governance and regulatory requirements, including BCBS 239 principles
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders throughout the assignment
We are looking for someone with experience in
- Power BI development
- Data transformation and preparation
- Combining data from multiple internal and external sources
- Building calculations and analytical/ranking models
- Data governance and documentation
- Data lineage, traceability and auditability
- Working in regulated and/or governance-heavy environments
Experience from banking or financial services and knowledge of BCBS 239 is highly relevant for the assignment.
The consultant needs to be able to work regularly on-site in Stockholm.
