Solution Architect – Data & Cloud
For our client, we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in data architecture, modern data warehousing and cloud-based data platforms.
You will join an agile environment and work with solutions supporting both data acquisition and data product delivery. The role combines solution architecture with close collaboration with engineers, business analysts, Product Managers and Product Owners.
Responsibilities
- Design and document technical solutions in line with established architecture principles and processes
- Work with modern data platforms for data acquisition and data product delivery
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and sustainable solution designs
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, engineers and other architects
- Contribute to the development of new engineering capabilities and reusable framework components
- Support, guide and provide technical direction to engineers
- Work closely with Product Manager, Product Owner and Lead Architect
- Ensure solutions are aligned with the team's backlog and overall architecture
Required experience and skills
We are looking for a senior profile with experience in:
- Solution Architecture / Data Architecture
- Data Warehousing and modern data platforms
- Azure
- Snowflake
- Python
- Strong programming/software engineering background
- CI/CD and GitHub Actions
- Automated testing
- Designing and documenting technical solutions
- Working closely with engineering teams
- Agile development environments
- Very good spoken and written English
Experience from banking or financial services is highly desirable.
As a person, you are self-driven, collaborative and able to quickly understand existing architecture frameworks and translate them into practical solutions. You enjoy working closely with both technical and business stakeholders and are comfortable guiding engineers in technical decisions.
