Technical Specialist – Production & S/4HANA
Our client, an international manufacturing company, is expanding its production capacity in Europe and building a new state-of-the-art production facility. The new facility, planned to open in 2027, will serve as a hub for the company's European operations, offering customers advanced automation and digital solutions. It will replace the company's existing facilities in Västerås, Sweden.
We are looking for an experienced consultant with a strong background in production and SAP to join a global S/4HANA transformation program.
The main focus of this role is to adapt and align existing production-related solutions to work effectively in the future S/4HANA Public Cloud environment. This includes ensuring that integrations with MES and EWM systems are designed to support the transition and fit the target landscape.
This is a key role for someone who wants to combine production knowledge, SAP expertise, and system understanding to support a long-term S/4HANA transformation.
Your responsibilities
Build an understanding of current SAP ECC solutions and support the transition to S/4HANA
Ensure that production requirements are properly reflected in solution design
Define how functionalities should be distributed across SAP, MES, EWM, and other systems to support the target architecture
Participate in solution design and architecture discussions
Collaborate with production stakeholders, SAP experts, and development teams
Act as a link between business and IT to ensure aligned solutions
Experience and skills:
5–10 years of experience working with SAP
Good knowledge of SAP modules related to production and warehouse, such as:
PP (Production Planning)
MM (Materials Management)
WM/EWM (Warehouse Management / Extended Warehouse Management)
Experience with, or a good understanding of, S/4HANA
Experience working with production processes and systems
Knowledge of MES systems and their integration with ERP
Experience in solution design, architecture, or system integration
Experience from larger implementation or transformation projects is an advantage
Personal qualities:
Able to work independently and take initiative
Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
Able to understand both business needs and technical solutions
Comfortable working in a large, international project environment
Proactive and not afraid to engage with different stakeholders
Language
Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken

Planned start in August 2026, initially running for six months, with the possibility of extension.
